The FBLA National Leadership Conference (NLC) Internship Program presents an exceptional opportunity for high school members to gain a behind-the-scenes look and real work experience at a national conference. Members will develop essential professional skills, work closely with FBLA staff, and contribute to the seamless execution of a large-scale event.
Interns will work onsite June 29 – July 1, 2026. Interested members must apply by May 1, 2026, to be eligible. Interns are responsible for funding their own travel expenses, hotel accommodations, and meal expenses.
Lead Interns - Rising HS Seniors & HS Graduates Only
- Commitment: Interns must commit to 10 hours of virtual prep work prior to NLC and working full-time onsite at NLC June 29 – July 1. Interns will work no more than 8 hours per day.
- Incentives: Interns will receive their NLC registration fee waived, lunch each day during their shift, and be eligible for a letter of recommendation from the National Center Staff upon successful completion of the internship.
- Eligibility Requirements: Interns must be registered for the conference as well as have a chaperone onsite attending the conference.
- Application Process: Submit this application no later than May 1, 2026. Top candidates will be invited for a virtual interview between May 4-8, 2026.
Daily Interns - HS Members in grade 9 - 12
- Commitment: Must complete a 1-hour onboarding webinar prior to NLC and commit to working at least one 8-hour shift during June 29 – July 1.
- Incentives: Interns will receive lunch during their shift.
- Eligibility Requirements: Interns must register and pay for the conference. Interns must have a chaperone onsite at the conference.
